We got a couple of organic mixes to sprout. I just want to make sure all are bird safe. Anyone know for sure?

Salad Mix:
Red Clover
Alfalfa Seeds
Radish Seeds
Red Lentils
Green Lentils

Sandwich Mix:
Alfalfa Seeds
Red Clover
Mung Bean
Radish Seeds

Stir Fry:
Green Peas
Green Lentils
Red Lentils
Yellow Peas
Garbanzo Beans
Mung Beans

awesome!!! I love sprouting myself. Although I have yet to do it for me. lol Just the birds.
Those sure look like pretty good mixes.

I'd love to see pictures of your sprouting process. I have myself convinced that it's way too cumbersome to do. Let us know how it comes out :)

Well, I will have to take pictures tonight. Today is the 4th day. It was pretty simple. Really easy for me because my hubby did them. =)

All we did was rinse and soak the seeds the first night. Pour out the water the next morning, rinse, then let them sit in a dark place for the next three nights.

He meant to sit them in the window for a few hours yesterday to add vitamins, but we didn't get home before dark. So he plans to do that this morning then rinse and put in fridge.

How do you store them? We just followed the instructions that came with the jar we bought at the co-op.
