Urgent parrot drank coffee

my Quaker grabbed a sip or maybe two of my mocha before i was able to pull it away from her. it’s been about an hour and a half, and she seems fine. when i called the vet they said just to watch for hyperactivity but the internet said coffee could cause seizures & death. i’m also worried about the cocoa powder in my mocha. ive tried to take her pulse and from what i can tell it’s not higher than normal and her breathing is fine. im making sure she’s drinking water. what should i do? is she ok? I’m so nervous. also this is my first post here so if this is like the wrong thread let me know

i want to add that ive noticed some tail movements that could be tail bobbing but im not sure.

"The dose makes the poison", as they say, and in the case of coffee a sip definitely won't kill.

Keep an eye, but your Quaker should be fine.

If I could count the number of times I've had a parrot beak in my coffee.... Well let's just say it's a fair amount

In high doses, caffeine can cause seizure and death... Even in people. But it's unlikely to happen in such a small dose
