I took her little body into the vet today to get cremated. They said I’ll have her ashes back in about 2 weeks.
I also took in a fecal sample from Duckie, just to make sure I have the full picture.
Our hearts are aching and Duckie is constantly contact calling which is very unusual for him. Sometimes I think he is looking for her as it doesn’t necessarily stop when I’m in the room.
I know we all just need time to figure it out.

I picked this up yesterday, in case anyone is interested how they do it. Inside there’s a plastic baggy with about a teaspoon of ashes. She really was the sweetest parrot I’ve ever heard of.

Aw that's a beautiful urn. How lovely. I got ones that you can put their pictures on.
