Odin and Loki

We have had Loki since early January, and have slowly begun introducing the two. Not the best of friends yet, but they can relax together Odin absolutely hates other birds, so it has been huge progress that she will stay on the same perch as Loki; Loki is in love he tries to feed her, and puts his fluffy little head out to be preened.... she has no idea what to do! Actually today was the first time she sat with him and touched his head without feeling threatened.

WOW, you have some stunning beauties there!

Once I saw a pair of BWP in a store and they left me with a lasting impression. Their beauty in person is something else. Always wanted a BWP since then, they're my favorite Pi.

Very nice! I wonder what it signifies when the ring around the eyes is orangey instead of the same color like their toes? Does it have to do with maturity or hormones?

I'm not sure what the eye ring means Saemma, I have read and seen so many things, I don't know what to believe anymore! Odin has NO red at all, she is 2. Loki's is very red, he is 1. But I have seen pictures of Jan's BW breeders and the females had red eye rings too?? I don't know enough about it to state facts I guess.

Titanis- I agree, they are so handsome. When I found Loki, I had to jump on the opportunity to adopt him since I rarely ever see them around here.

I have only seen this species once, that time I saw the stunning pair at the store. I recently discovered a breeder within an hour's drive from where I live. BTW, I take it you're into Norse mythology? Great choice in names. Very unique.
