Hello all

I recently bought an Indian ringneck he has been with me now forb18 days

He is 60 days old today I spoon feed him or using the syringe and I started feeding him solid foods, a lot of kinds of food

Pieces of Apple mashed and solid
Seeds
Pesticus seeds
And other assorted foods

What I have a concern with is that there is absolutely no excitement at all when feeding with any of the foods

I am trying to find him something that he loves so I can start training him but nothing seems to work

I am currently concerned that he might be sick or something,

Need help

Also say hello to Uzi

hehe sorry, I was trying to bump it to the top of the What's new list for visibility in the hopes someone would see it who knows some advice.

Do you have a vet nearby in case you need it?

Make sure you are weighing your bird too.

You could try some new thing, maybe dice a grape and give a small piece. Smash an almond and give a small chunk.

Unfortunately in Egypt Avian vets are not a common thing AT ALL so I am on my own

I'll try dicing the grapes and almonds and get back to you

How much formula are you feeding him? My first thought is that he's getting full from that.

Please don´t stop feeding formula. I think Matto meant, how much quantity per feeding? Maybe you are giving too much per feeding.

How much does your bird weigh with an empty crop?

Remember your bird is still a baby and might take a while to try new things and be excited over them.
