Hi!
I've just lost my canary-winged of 17 years and have been heartbroken. She was sweet, gentle, communicated well with people as to what she wanted, a perfect bird.
I've always believed in having just one bird as I want a pet, not just birds.
After a lot of searching, I found a 6 month old pair. The shopowner convinced me to take the two, as there are so few in my area and he promised to take the chicks at the right time. (I've never raised birds before). These two birds are hard to tame, bite and are frightened of us.
We are thinking of seperating them into different cages and interacting with them, one at a time.
Does anyone have ideas on this, or on a better way to tame the birds?
Thank You
