New Lovie, meet Cricket!

She needs to be tamed and trained, but she is very sweet, I can tell! She sure is a chatterbox, and sometimes sounds like a very loud cricket!! LOL I was told she is a lutino peachface, but she is dark yellow and has a lot of green hues, almost pied looking. So I took photos trying to show all her colors. She is stunning, I think!

She's beautiful! And 100% NOT lutino as you guessed. A Lutino would be bright yellow colored, have completely white flight feathers, and red eyes. I'm actually stumped on Cricket's mutation. When I see something that makes think one mutation, there's something else to make me think it's not that mutation. It looks like a combination of Pallid and Cinnamon on a Green Peachfaced, but that's only a guess...

THANKS EVERYONE for all your compliments! I'll keep you posted with our taming progress, at least she doesn't bite! She was hand fed but not socialized.........so I have my work cut out for me!

Tim, I was hoping you would give your thoughts on mutation, I knew she wasn't a lutino, that is what the shop said she was. All I knew was she was stunning and I wanted a lovie to complete my flock!
