Hit the Road
Hi all! I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself and my flock. My name is Danielle and I am owned by an Orange Winged Amazon, a CAG and two GCC's.
My Amazons name is Jay. I adopted her 2 1/2 years ago from Lair of Dragons Bird Rescue in PA. Her age is unknown and very little is known about her past. She came to the rescue from a man that had inheritated her from his mom when she passed. Jay wasn't (and still isn't) fond of men so they decided to give her up. We immediately had a bond that no one could break. She is very loyal to me and I adore everything about her (well, except for the Amazon scream...lol).
Sam is my CAG's name. He's actually my husbands bird but he tolerates me because I feed him! He is 2 years old. We raised him from 7 weeks. He's a total hoot. I actually call him my African Amazon...lol! He makes every sound my Amazon makes and you can not tell the two apart. He started talking about a year ago and hasn't shut up since

Mango and Lil Man are my GCC's. Mango is a "normal" and Lil Man is a turquoise. They are a bonded couple and are so in love! Lil Man was never socialized properly so he is very, very hand shy and Mango is a sweetheart. She loves to ride on your shoulder around the house. They both LOVE to take baths! Mango started saying her name about a year ago and Lil Man just started say her name about a month ago. It's so cute!
