I got glasses today and I went to see Winnie. He got really scared of them and flew away :(.
They are just reading glasses but I mostly read WITH him, he eventually calmed down ;). He is a bit curious about them and has started to have a little nibble of them. He wont let me get my face close to him because he will just lean back and then fly away :arghh:

Is there any way to get him used to them?
How do i stop him chewing on them and breaking them?

Time and positive reinforcement.

They’re just brand new so give him some time to realise they’re not a threat to his safety.

Don't let him chew on them, once he gets used to them

Tteok (and later Pudge) thought the arms of my glasses were so nifty because they're shiny.

I agree with Xoetix, Spearmint's broken my mothers glasses TWICE now. The moment he gets a chance he's on them and biting

I wish my birds were afraid of my glasses...and my work Teams headset. They think they are chew toys just for them.
