Went to the store for a 75g tank with DH and ended up bringing Princess Almathea Hydra-sama home instead.
She has a turquoise patch on her front and on her back. Then black spots on her back and wings like a dalmatian.
She's more willing to sit on my hand after escaping from her cage to the floor. She just calmly sits and watches me, unlike Clippy, who constantly looks for an opportunity to fly back to his cage.
She's very pretty and really looks like a little snow princess, no?

Store person said it was a girl, nose was hot pink, too. Flash makes it look weird. But eventually we'll find out if some eggs show up.

Pink means male in budgies! :)

Females, regardless of mutation, will still get the white, white with blue/tan, tan, or crusty brown ceres.

Finding a lot of conflicting info. Either way, doesn't matter what it is.

She's still sitting when caught, seems to be ok with it. Conure tried to groom her, but it just scares her, he's much bigger after all.
Both budgies now sit next to each other and chatter. So she's doing fine.

Tons of singing, grooming and being adorable. Conure is still a turd-face. Can't quite tell if he's just too big n rough or actually trying to bite...

If the cere ever turns white, then you know you have a hen.

Recessive pied and Ino males always keep a pinkish colored cere.

Are you catching him for a particular reason?

No, they like to try and 'fly' off their cages. One budgie goes, the other follows or if something spooks them.
Either way, they need to learn to like me at some point. I don't want to have crazy, feral birds...They'll never get their flight feathers back then.
