What is he texture of the coconut husk like? Is it easy to chew/shred?
It's soft and rippable. It's a soft cracking layer and squishy husk. There is no shell on the husk pieces.

Yes. Weights are the word. Balsa has different weights. I usually have pretty light and pretty medium/heavy stuff.

Not sure how the balsa would do under the cookie cutter.. Plus, to do a good size stocking that would be a big balsa... If it were decent size you wouldn't want to be wasting any of it....

I was referring to these, they are a nice alternative to the softer chewers and just as nice as the new stuff your making.
