So I'm excited to have come across this forum. So my boyfriend just got me a fancy baby conure 3 days ago. Baby Chucho is 7 months. He's supposed to be my bird but I feel Chucho likes him better. He seems to like perching on my glasses as well as biting on them and my jewelry. I know its still early as its only been 3 days but any advice I can get i would grately appreciate it 20200916_163400.jpg

:hello1: What a beautiful conure! I'm afraid I know nothing about them, but you'll find plenty of really helpful people and great information here!

Try elle and the birds she has great videos on bird care. I`m going to list some stuff.
  • Pellets and chop as diet, seeds and millet as treats.
  • flight cage, with plenty of time outside.
  • Natural perches
  • If you notice chewing on the rope perches, take out right away
  • no avocado, coffee chocolate, or alcohol (or sugar)
  • no Teflon cookware
  • SS food bowls
  • plenty of foraging toy and shredding toys (Bird kabob is a must.)
heres an amazon list for everything you need
