My new lorries do a strange dance and bob their heads while licking the insides of their beaks and making a grunting sound I'm not sure what this means is it just because they are youngish and have personalities?

No experience with Lorries but @JAM and @CheekyBeaks should be able to help.

I often see this behaviour either as a mating ritual or when a Lori is getting defensive, sometimes as part of play when they get really worked up. you will usually see them pinning their eyes during the behaviour and it's more of a hissing sound rather than a grunt.

How many have you got, how old are they and how do you house them?

As Ann-Marie says it sounds a bit like mating ritual at this stage.

Do you have any videos you could show us too?
