My Lola the musician!

I'm a big music person and play piano, so I decided at least one of my 'fids' must learn :hehe:

. I bought a toy piano and placed it in the bird room to see who might be interested. Over the course of a couple of weeks, Lola claimed it and began playing using the 'hunt and peck' method, LOL. She can play a whole song at once by choosing the top buttons, or one note at at time. I moved the piano to her cage door, and she has become quite possessive of her prize. She entertains herself for hours with this one toy.

I tried the day I took the photos...but Miss Lola-Bug now recognizes the 'beep' the camera makes and stops to make the beeping sound. Gonna figure out a way around that and try again, LOL.

nice piano!! I have been hunting one down for months and haven't had any luck. How are you holding it up to the cage like that?

I found it at Walmart not in the baby section but in the regular toys. It came with nice strong twisties to attach it to the cage bars.

That's EXACTLY what she meant! When I reached for her, she grabbed my hand and dented it harder than she ever has...all the while keeping one eye on her precious piano!!

In the little kid's toy dept. at Walmart. So far it's held up well..four weeks or so and no damage!
