LOL I finally downloaded Gimp last night, and I looked at it for a sec, said HUH, then closed it and never went back!

Soooo your first attempt is fabulous, I didn't even know how to get a pic there to touch up

LOL I couldn't follow the Youtube videos so I made Jack come and show me step by step TWO different times and now I can stumble along up to this point

That's great! What I don't like is that you can't keep the transparency without saving it as a GIMP file and I'm not sure if that format is supported by photosharing sites, and I know it's not supported by vBulletin. Thanks for the reminder to get PS installed. It STILL won't work!

Yes but notice the background isn't transparent. jpegs can't handle transparency

I was looking for a good EASY open source photo editing software and saw GIMP, but it looked WAY to complicated. I still can't get the hang of layers in Paint.net so when I say easy, I mean EASY. I think it looks great Saroj!

Saroj I think great job!! I'm still trying to struggle with Photoshop Elements 6. I did go out and buy "Photoshop Elements 6 for Dummies" Which is so appropriate because that is how it makes me feel! Even with the tutorial and some PM's from Cydney
