Just wanted to share a few pics of my three Bourke's Parakeets. They're my favorite small parrots..I love their easygoing nature. Plus I could listen to their singing all day long, they have beautiful noises.

I liked Anabeth (a curious person who is filled with grace) and Beneatha (beauty, excitement and wonderment, curious, artistically inclined to make an impact on the world as we know it). Joakim (sensitive,charming, curious,comunicative and adaptable) and Oslac (A determined and curious individual).

Any idea of the sex?

we don't know the gender...so we're trying to find something that could work either way.

They are beautiful.. my name suggestion is Piper.. for this lovely Rosey ‘Edged’ Bourke... (piping is an edging or trim).. do you know their hatch dates?

I am in the process of finding a Bourke to take home. These birds are lovely. I hope I find one as healthy and happy as these appear to be.

We ended up naming our third Bourke 'Cherries Jubilee' due to the blue accents...when they cook cherries for cherry jubilee the flames are blue.

I need to get more pics of Cherries Jubilee...she doesn't like my phone. Pink Lemonade on the other hand is much more agreeable to being photoed. She knows how pretty she is. (we're purely guessing on the he/she bits here....color mutations are harder to sex)

I got to see 2 Bourke’s while at a bird fair back in May, but I didn’t get to interact with them. They sure are gorgeous birds. And I love your bird Pink Lemonade - the name suits her well.
