My baby bourke

Back in August I bought a 3 month old bourke parakeet. I will admit, it was an impulse buy. I have never seen a bourke in Maine, and they had two babies, $170 for one or $200 for both, so it was good price. I got one of them, named him Quinn. My other birds were very wary of him for a while, but now Opal has opened up to him, Elvis prefers not to be around him.

Quinn makes lots of soft chirps in the morning, it's adorable!

He is Rubino mutation.

What a colorful flock you have! I love how they look together! Quinn is so handsome!
I went to a bird show this year and there was a breeder with lots of cages of healthy bourkes, every variation, one prettier than the next. It was amazing and so tempting.
