Not interested in a quiet life....are you?
Haha!
If you meant quiet figuratively, then nope, not interested in the quiet life at all! Lots of training, outings, flying, life style changes, all that good stuff especially for Dorian who is a splendid bird but needs a lot of work.
If you meant quiet literally in terms of noise, I've been quite enjoying how quiet it is thus far.
Tatzu is only five and a half months old so he's pretty quiet of course as he's a baby but after about a month and a half here, Dorian is proving to be like Val, and is freakishly quiet.
His owner of the last decade says that the low noise level he has here with me is standard for him/ his behavior over the years versus the common quiet streak during the brief honey moon phase so that's terrific.
If they need something, they may holler but thankfully, the crazy legit macaw screams are very few and far between.
I have lived exclusively in apartments with my macaws noise issue free for the past near decade so I'm very fortunate in that regard.
You're soooooo right though, 2 macaws could be a huge noise issue if they had the proclivity to be loud.
The yellow dominant Capri I keep and train can really knock your socks off and Rio will happily take one for the team.
She alone screams enough for all 4 of them!
That reminds me....are "siggys" still a thing?
I need/ would love to purchase an updated one.
