Wendy, your Riggley photos are just freakin' incredible! I don't know if it's your picture taking or it's Riggs' irresistible good looks or both, but you never fail to stun my silly with your RFM pics!!!!

I have to say I am VERY amazed you still have "pretties" out .

My "pretties" are no longer out anywhere, the birds will take them, knock them off, fly with them..chew them.

I gave up that battle after one year.

Titanis, it is not my picture taking, I can assure you. I have a great camera but I have no idea how to use it. I just push the button! So I guess it is Riggs!

And Kristy, believe it or not, neither of my freak birds touch my stuff. They perch on the back of chairs, they walk across the table and never touch anything. They walk right past it. I don't know why, I guess they're just weird! Now that I think of it, that is my amazement for the day!

Those are fantastic pics of Riggley and you are very fortunate to have such well behaved fids. If Ruby was the subject in the last pic that phone recharger wire would be cut in half for sure.

Mr. Riggly is GORGEOUS! RFM's are one of my fave's, too. Something about their cute little face. (to me, it seems like they retain a babyish look all through their lives!) Plus all the great stories i hear about them..

Yes! Those adorable baby faces, and baby voices! No other macaw quite retains that baby look except possibly for the Hahn's. What's more, RFMs develop that gorgeous red and vivid orange over time - it's just an incredible species when considering all the positives together.

Yeah, but macaws aren't too far behind cockatoos in the destruction arena, so it must be Riggs!
