Does it appear to be white?

Also, who sells them here?

I would imagine that the white is resin when it dries.

Thanks. We're out of the really nice ones we bought a few years back. Probably 100 or 200.

Kathy had some awesome pine cones a while back, and we ordered a bunch. She's been out of the medium ones ever since, though. I've ordered from premiumpinecones.net, too. Their product is really nice, but shipping is high and slow.

I'd also love to know if any AA vendors have them - especially in bulk.

Suppose I am lucky in having them grow on a tree in the garden but my lot are not that fussed with them. I have brought a bunch in and washed them and dried them out in the oven but they show no interest in them whatso ever. Will try again and see if it is just a case of bad timing on my part.:D

I still have a partial garbage bag of ones we collected a while back, but I'd like to have a bit more.

I have tons from my tress. The white is dried resin. I soak them in ACV/water and then bake them for about an hour at very low temps.
