Millet and risk of aspiration for poicephalus

I have a new poicephalus (Meyer's). My vet told me millet is an aspiration risk because this bird is bigger (than my parakeets). I've searched the Internet can't find anything to support this. So for training I am using sunflower seeds, sometimes broken in half. I've stopped offering millet. Has anyone head this before?

My grey is ok with millet. The caiques are not.

I think it depends on the bird. My Jardine's won't touch millet so I haven't experienced anything either way

Oh shizz, I let Oggie have a sprig of the budgie's millet in his cage :(
Won't do that again I guess.
