Merry Christmas challenge

I'm trying to get my birds to say Merry Christmas!
My chances are probably low

I extend the challenge to you and your flock!

I've been trying to get Gregols (AG) to say Jack Bower for years .... She only says what she want's to say, but hey - I'll try!

Echo is the same! My mom tried to get Echo to say Good night for 3 years. I think he's kind of said it but not really

My brother thinks it would be hilarious if Echo learned "Gobble, Gobble, Gobble!" No luck there

I've tried to introduce the concept of "mine" and "yours/Echo's" especially around food. It's not going well He does sort know "Not for birds". One time I was eating something not for birds and he was on my shoulder. He climbed down and looked at me and asked "For birds?"

I know they can pick up stuff fast if they want....
My GCC is actually my most talkative. She just said "what a sweet girl " first time tonight! I e been saying that a lot to my dog Sophia lately.
So she is my front runner

Maybe I can split it and try to have one learn "Merry" and the other one "Christmas"

I have been trying to get Burt to say "Good Morning" and "Good Night" for probably 5 years now- he has picked up so many other phrases and words but not the good morning one... every morning I am alerted to him being awake enough and wanting his curtains open and breakfast by him loudly calling out "Rah" like a scary beast or "peek-a-boo" like a cute hiding child lol

Today I asked him if he would learn Merry Christmas for me and he replied “ah huh” then bleated “I love you, gimme a kiss” so I’m not so sure he’s gonna attempt the merry Christmas saying but I’ll keep trying lol.

Christmas does seem like it would be a hard word ...but maybe ?

I'm playing Christmas songs all day too!

My green cheek Ta-dah, finally cocked her head like ok you are saying that a lot! Then she said "happy birthday girl!" Which is a phrase that showed up one day out of the blue and I'm still not sure where she heard that !

But now I'm thinking.... safflower seeds when I say Merry Christmas! Because she it's nuts for those seeds ... tomorrow I'm going to try and bribe !

Ta-dah has a lot of phrases , my favorite is "what's up little bird?"

Pikachu is stuck mostly saying " are you a good bird ( or girl)? Then "what a good bird/girl! "

Phoebe is mostly "good boy" loves me to argue no you are a good girl! So she can say good boy again .

Which is an improvement from last year , when both would just say buuuuurddddd everytime I spoke trying to drown me out with bird, but they said buuuuurrrrddd. Then laugh. I couldn't speak in the phone without constant buuuurd it was the biggest joke to them and I thought they'd never get tired of it !

He’s really hard to catch with video as he’s not a big fan of me pointing the phone at him. Once he chatted away and made some noises he likes to make while I was filming but I don’t think I caught those sayings. I’ll find the video I have of him saying the most things and post it.

I've been trying for years and years and years to get Secret to say I love you.

Maybe I'll get the grandsons to say Merry Christmas all night tomorrow night to her. You know kids have EXCITEMENT in their voices.
