Hello everyone It has been quite a while since I have posted. I have had a very busy year. I moved house a couple of months ago and have been busy doing major renovations. Still have quite a way to go!
Now for my exciting news. I have a new addition to my flock and he is called Opie He is just 20 weeks old and I bought him home last Saturday. I was so lucky to have found him here in the UK as this particular breed of Macaw is just not heard of over here. I gave up my search over a year ago, then just out of the blue I had an email from a lovely breeder here in the UK who had just had 1 baby hatch. She gave me first refusal. I wasn't thinking about getting another bird yet, due to moving, but I could not let this opportunity pass me by! I knew if I had let him go, I would never have found another I think my having him was fated
Codie has taken to him very well, which has really surprised me. I thought I would have problems, but, so far so good
I am very excited to introduce you to "Opie" my Red Fronted Macaw
Codie observing LOL.
