So we couldn't get the rescue geese from my earlier post. Probably too noisy for our setting.

However there were 1 week old ducklings who are now home with us.

Here they are in their travel box. We lined it with bubble wrap and piddle pads for comfort. They are now adjusting to the brooder. They are Cayuga ducks.

The names: Lio, Cyprus and Jade

They are adjusting to their new home. So cute!

I just googled those ducks, wow very beautiful! Like a peacock duck :D

Are they sexually dimorphic or monomorphic?

How exciting! :duck:

Plumage is mostly monomorphic, but drakes have a curly tail feather and behaviour and vocalisations are different. I also think females have purple markings on their wings. One of the best traits as they age they get white feathers. Though not noticeable until they are much older. :)

The trio are siblings we don't know sexes yet so all names can work for both.
