I named her on the way home - She is supposed to be a Maroon Bellied GC but i'm not sure will have to look at more pics of them and see if she matches and get better shots of her not a single belly shot lol

She's believed to be 2 years old I haven't got a chance to read her band clearly yet but I've seen 07 then 44 not sure if there is more numbers or not also saw FL then in small print going down the side it says NYS - have no clue what that's for. I thought the FL would be Florida - if it is that'll be odd Andy's says FL for where he came from LOL

but when she settles in a bit more I'll get a better look

We met the lady at 2, Got home at around 3:30 even had time to stop at the Pet Smart there in that town - not much of variety 4 budgies all Green one Opaline , a couple Jenday conures for around $700 and the Sun Conure was on sale for around $559 I think is what it was. , some finches Some Blue something or another for $99 and some normal finches - didn't look at the price.

stopped into the Dollar Tree there - too bad they're over a hour away They had a much better store and selection of things, I got 2 sets of Baby storage cups with animal faces on them for Foraging toys, each set contained 2 cups/lids and a spoon and 2 dog rope toys to make rope toys for the birds

they had some of the prettiest candles that had B&G Macaws painted on them and some had Scarlet Macaws Painted on them , some had those Toucan type birds. but that was it, No budgies, conures, IRN's Quakers,or anything else I own lol

Wish they did they would of looked great on my Shelf in the corner of my room with all my bird knick knacks on them

She's a green cheek conure.. I dont think there is such thing as a maroon bellied green cheek? there's a maroon bellied conure and a greencheek conure, though.

Either way, she's adorable and I'm loving the name.

hehe and She has some work on him as well his head has several but they both have to wait at least a month

and man oh man is she a biter hopefully it's just because she's stressed from the move.

She's cute, but she looks like just a normal GCC to me.

yep! GGC's have grey heads, Maroon bellied's have green ones.. The tails of GCC's are that red color on both sides, but Maroon bellied conures are green on top.

Deffinately a normal GCC, but a very CUTE one!

she actually has green in her head , her head is a light greyish brown

where andy's is Coal black

Andy's tail is Deep maroon on both sides her's is just deep maroon on the under side it is lighter on the top side and as you can see doesn't go all the way up to her rump, and I'm pretty sure Andy's does I'll have to check again

Well, its possibly she's a hybrid between a maroon bellied conure and a green cheek conure.. but to me she looks like a normal green cheek. Cookie has a bit of green going back her tail like that too before it gets red. and your new girls head looks right..

Yep, she's a normal GCC Maroon bellieds have red only under their tail the top is all green, and the head is a bit lighter.

She definitely looks like a green cheek only. My green cheek didn't have the maroon all the way up his tail either.

If she says maroon belly then she must be inbreeding them on purpose. I don't like that.

Delta she didn't breed her she had 2 and both ended up being females the other died of egg binding but she was sold both of them as Male/Female Maroon bellies

I know she doesn't know squat about Tiel mutations, she told me she had a FEMALE CINNAMON PEARL SPLIT TO LUTINO

so i had to explain how that is not even possible lol

I accidentally cut her head off in one - I was kneeling down and almost fell over and well i was trying to stop from falling and snapped the pic at the same time but i got a decent belly shot out of the deal

the sun was playing against me, I had to close the curtains and it still was a pain - my daughters curtains are thin LOL

she has pins around her neck so I know part of is molting - the lady didn't say she was plucking Just laying eggs left and right So it might be a combo of both on her belly

not sure if the conures pluck out some of their belly feathers to help incubate the eggs or not, I know my budgies do
