:starshower1::starshower1::congrats5::starshower1::starshower1: Tricia!!!!

Loved reading about your life with your birds.

I got my first bird in the 1960s, a sweet little Parakeet named Petie. He was the most beautiful color of blue! I bought him at Woolworth's for .99 cents and brought him home without asking my parents. They were quite surprised...
:coffeescreen: I'm sure they were!!!

Congratulations! I loved your interview. I wonder how many people had a budgie for a first bird?

Good question! I bet quite a few of us did!
I did! He was blue and his name was Charlie. And then our next bird was green Charlie. LOL!

And then Charlie III and eventually Sydney and Kinga.

Mine was Petie, a beautiful blue little guy. I still think about him even though that was in the 60s. Then I had a tiel named Sunny for her bright orange cheeks. We only had her about 4 years when we had to Rehome her because I being restationed to Pearl Harbor Hawaii (Hickam AFB). Broke my heart but there was no way we could take her along.
