This is my new budgie that I purchased a few days ago! Is this a male or female?

I'm fairly certain this is a male, but maybe it's too soon to tell? He is fairly young.

First of all, she is not very young. All her baby bars are gone, so I'd say atleast 9 months. So, I'm thinking female. @Ripshod can say for sure.

Pretty budgie. Four your information stainless steel bells are safer than ones from a pet store. Baffles are best removed.

Yes the bells sold in pet stores are not usually labeled with the kind of metal. Any metal objects in a birds cage best to be SS. Birds can easily get metal toxcicy from zinc and other metals. The vendors here sell only safe toys. @Mizzely makes toys for the little birds.

Cute young male. Baby eyes, dilute, clear wing or perhaps a mutation where the baby bars are very light or have none so lack of bars does not always indicate age. Also light lilac cheek patch so some sort of lightening mutation genes.
