Hello. I have a lorikeet named Lozza.
She has no mate but has laid eggs before. She is a family pet but now I look after her,
I've had her for a few months now and she is starting to make the sounds that indicate she will have an egg soon, and she is making a nest using the newspaper on the bottom.
I know to leave the egg but is there something else I can do to help her?

Most female birds benefit from a supplement as well as flight time and rest time. I am not sure about lorikeets and what supplement they could benefit from. I will tag someone who will hopefully know, @minkylory

with my female lorikeet I don't usually do much different for her, maybe mix a bit of calcium supplement in her food, thats about it though.
