Lovebird with yellow on toe

Hey I found a lovebird last year. When we found her she had no claws. One of her toes has always been a little whitish in colour. The past few days we noticed it has now turned yellow. Any ideas what this could be or what has caused it. When I touch it she doesn't seem bothered by it and is completely fine in herself. First pic is how it's always been and the second is how it is now.
Thanks 1000030549.jpg 1000030524.jpg

They can tell a lot from just a physical exam, so don’t let the thought of diagnostics stop you!

No. The tip of the toe, including the nail is missing. That is likely dried puss.

It's not dried pus as it feels like her skin. She's had no opened wound on her toe and no sign of any cuts. When we found her her toes where healed.

even though there was no sign of anything to heal in the first place? As we found her in August last year and all her toes were healed. Would the infection only just come out now?

Yes abscesses even spots on our faces start under the skin the infection starts with or without a open sore cut whatever spots start underneath the skin then will work there way to surface
It could be anything that’s set off the infection but as everyone else above as said it definitely looks like dry puss or puss under skin and a vet will be able to help more than we can

I’ve personally had this happen to me - wounds that heal over an infection. Not good. She needs a vet.
