It's easy to get Mom out of the cage....I just let Mom clamp her beak on my finger and she comes right out

here's some iphone video from this evening.
What I learned today:
Do not use a loose weave towel to hold the babies! The darned birds clutch the little loops in the fabric and won't let go. I'm going to use a much tighter weave fabric to put them in next time.

The Pieds are yellow and green...is there a so-called name for that color scheme?
