Hi all ..

I am posting on behalf on my dear friend .. Deb .. we know her as "Phoenix" here. Deb is a nut about her birds' safety, but unfortunately, she has company and someone forgot to shut a door.

That Caique is her beloved Shrek, who she's posted about many times.

Please, please, keep her and Shrek in your thoughts and prayers .. we are doing everything we can to get him back.

I'm posting on Parrot 911 now .. Deb is getting flyers done .. and combing her neighborhood .. she's been at it for hours and hours and hours.

Please .. everyone .. all positive thoughts, all positive energy, please to help bring Shrek home.

Oh my gosh, that is the Caique I posted about right below your thread. I have been in contact with her via emails. She lives 5 mins from.

Thank you for making the original post. I didn't find out until a little bit ago, and Deb's been too frantic searching to get on the computer, so I'm trying to help however I can, although I'm not local to her.

Deb has an extra challenge as she is deaf .. so she can't "listen" for Shrek calling.

Again, please keep them both in your prayers.

Well no luck! Deb is a mess. Such a lovely lady. She is deaf and we communicated by lip reading and some sign language. She also cannot see well. We walked her entire yard. We walked the streets and went into neighbors yards. We drove streets over and got out and walked. There are so many tall trees it is near impossible. I prayed to St Francis as I searched.
Deb had a sound track of parrot sounds playing loud and her red lord Zon outside in a cage. She truely believes he is somewhere in her back yard and that he will fly back. I told her I would pray for her. I told her parrots are capable of flying very far and hopefully someone will see or find him. She was going in to make posters and we continued looking. I feel very bad for Deb. She is truely very upset and worried about shrek. I told her we are leaving for vacation in the morning and I can't help her. She doesn't have anyone. Mike and I feel so bad for her.
