Lost Blue Front Amazon Parrot in Wilmington NC

Our beloved parrot NOKIO escaped from the house (located in the Laurel Ridge subdivision across Carolina Beach Road from Ashley High School near the intersection of CB Road and Myrtle Grove Road)in Wilmington NC about 1:30PM on Superbowl Sunday.

Nokio is a mostly green parrot with yellow around his eye, blue above his beak, and a yellow spot on the "shoulder" of his wing.

If you have seen, heard, hear of anyone seeing, or have any other information about the whereabouts of our friend, please CALL, CALL, CALL!!!!

Tonight I spoke with Pat, as of now she's sad to report there is no change and Nokio has not returned home. She's very concern about tonight it's going to be one of the coldest she's had in a while during the winter.

The cage along w/ food remain outside still. She's taken flyers around to all vets and pet shops in the area. Also, posted it on pets 911 .

If anyone can suggest another site to post this on she would be thankful.

She wanted me to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for his safe return home. She's still has some hope she'll get him back.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

i wonder if it would do any good to get a local news station involved

also perhaps call the police department and see if they have had any calls
