Looking for a friend for Phoenix

I think I may have found the perfect friend for Phoenix!!! Finally! He's only 2 hours away from me too

Just to double check, this baby is a male and around Phoenix's age right?(Phoenix is nearly 3 months old) The owner says he is a male and doesn't know how old he is, but I want to be sure!

If the lady was older than Phoenix, she wouldn't cause him to "mature" early right? I don't want to cause issues

Oh how wonderful!!! Also super cutie!
If you look at their cere and you don’t see a white ring around the nostril holes their self then you have a baby boy. That’s as far as my knowledge goes.
But just like others I can’t wait to see them happy together doing budgie buddy things

Do you know why the rehome?

They had the budgie in their living room and had a cat, the cage was trash and was not appropriate for a parakeet so naturally he would escape a lot. The cat attacked him, full on had him in her mouth, so they rehomed him

Also, I went to wash the water dish before filling it up and it was slimy like algae was growing inside it... makes me wonder if it was just never washed
