Kamara's out and about!

Kamara recently became very anxious and afraid of her door being left open, and hasn't been coming out at all since.
But just now I opened her doors to rotate some toys, and she clambered out to the top of her cage!

So proud of my grey chicken! She has so many fears but she's so brave.

Kamara is a lot like my adopted CAG Scooter. It took her a while before she's step outside her cage too, but now she likes climbing all over it. She still doesn't have the courage to go beyond her cage, but we'll get there some day-- and so will you. Good job, Kamara!

Kamara ventured off her cage entirely today! There's an old travel cage in the bird room right now (I don't know where else to put it and everyone likes to play on it lol) and she flew over to it and started knocking some toys around.

She seems a little terrified of her own boldness and she's staring at me very suspiscously, but she hasn't fled back to her cage yet. Progress!!

KAMARA STEPPED UP!!!!

She had a crash landing and I offered her my hand to help her back up to her cage for dinner, and she very tentatively offered her foot and allowed me to pick her up.

She was clearly terrified, and leapt the last few inches to her cage screaming bloody murder at my hand once she was off of it, but she stepped up! God, I'm so proud of her.
