Hello everyone
Im new here
I have 2 lovely birdies. Two male umbrella cockatoos.
A 16 y.o named Bokka
and a 2 y.o. named Opa
I have 2 other male Umbrella's, Louie and Reo, and a RLA named Pua. Louie and Reo are with several other umbrella cockatoos outdoors in a 30ft aviary, and Pua is with several greencheeks, a couple Mealy's and RLA's, and her new buddy a DYH, in an outdoor aviary
Louie and Reo are doing AWESOME. And suprisingly so is Pua. She didnt seem to like any amazon (maybe its the vocal competition), and she is doing really well, is partnering herself up with a totally plucked naked DYH amazon, which we are working on getting him feathered (dont worry he is in a partial heated aviary with heated perches).
Some of you may remember me from another "unspecified" forum
HI! Im seeing how my bird's will do in an outdoor aviary flock environment, as initially, this is what I plan on doing/setting up (Umbrella Cockatoo Rescue) in the next couple years.
I recently lost my scarlet macaw, Gra (or the name I gave her "Rosie". "Gra" was the name she gave herself... lol).
I finally moved out of my mom's house into my own place with a couple roomates, and acreage, so I can finally do what I want/need to do
Im here to make birdie friends, communiticate "birdie", and have fun!
