Welcome to Avian Avenue!
They could be fifes. They could also be American Singers like my Kismet. Males generally sing, and females do not{a rare female will}. You will need to eventually separate out the boys.
here is some info on "type" canaries

DNA testing. Your avian vet can do it, or you can send away to Avian Biotech for kits.

Mutations. Not breed. :) Breed is only for dogs I think.

How do they sound. Could they be german rollers?

Mutations tend to just be different colours of one body type (eg parrotlet colour mutations) but with canaries you do get different breeds (often called types) that have varying body shapes, songs and feathering. Just like chicken breeds and pigeon breeds.

Unless what you said is a 'Murica thing.

To OP, I agree with what Waterfaller1 said. They're very nice looking little birds.

Ive bred few types of canaries over the years, fife, border, irish fancy, roller canaries and red factor canaries. they look sorta like a Fife but could be a mixture of a few kinds if they were bred from a mixed colony aviary. also because roller canaries are NOT 'TYPE' canary they can basically be any shape i.e look like a border or fife as its the siging that is important and judged. if they sign with a closed mouth and it sounds like a 'ROLLING' song they could be roller canary.

hope that helps:)

Might be spanish timbrados. I held a pair for a friend for a couple of months, they look similar. Do they sing?
