It's been truly heartwarming reading all of your well wishes over these last few days.

But I'm completely destroyed. My heart is broken and a piece has gone and won't ever come back. Jacob was so special and nothing will be the same without him. He and my partner were my only family here. I live in a foreign land and now part of ymy family is gone forever.

I'd give anything to have him back. I don't really know what to say, but I thought I owed it to you all to let you know.

Oh Zara, I am so very sorry. He was a very loved dog, and you are so right they ARE Family. As you say a piece of your heart is gone forever, I so get this. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss Bella.

She was one in a million to me, even with my others. I'd give anything to have her back. That won't happen, but I do know my heart yearns for those brown eyes and beautiful black fur.

Hugs and peace, comfort and know that sign you'll see that he made it to the rainbow Bridge.
