Jack is a goofball! I know most macaws, who LOVE to be on the ground. Perhaps schedule some form of "play" with him, like fetch, or playing cuddles, or playing with toys, whatever you may choose, but play with him on the ground? I think its crucial for our birds, to have all sorts of new things,etc, and most bird LOVE being on the ground, to forage, to play,etc.
