I tried to get a video btw, and will continue to try till I succeed!

Quarter is a goat bird now. He BLEATED at me yesterday!
It was hilarious and I was a tad shocked. He was doing it to get my attention because he could see me cleaning chicken pens and ignoring him. I did think it was one of the goats but when I looked up they were at the other end of the paddock.
There has never been a word or sound I've wanted to encourage with him (talking and mimicry isn't a big thing to me), except this. It's so funny and I want him to keep doing it

Omg how cute! Can't wait till you catch that sound lol I wonder if you'll eventually hear other animal sounds too.

Burt does chicken sounds that he only heard in his first year of living with me, he used to bark like a small dog too but thankfully he does not do that sound anymore lol.

It's going to be hard to get a video, he gets super quiet around me unless he's wanting my full attention.
Maybe I'll try some gardening and he'll "talk" to me.

Sorry about there being nothing to look at, I was trying to pretend I wasn't expecting anything from him (Why would he ever do something on camera?? )
It's just at the end of the clip, also don't mind the flapping I walked past a chicken and spooked him .

Basically right after the flapping Q calls (normal galah sounds) then a few seconds later bleats. I am still trying to get a clearer video of it, but he just loves cooperating

That poor chook! Hopefully you do get clearer video of him! I wonder if he answers or calls the goats when you aren't about, Birdie whistles the dog I discovered which I think is why she has started ignoring me when I whistle her lol.

Believe me even though I am there in person listening back I keep wondering if it is a goat! But considering it's a single sound and nothing else I'd say it's him, if it was a goat they'd be crying for a reason like "FEED US HUMANS" and that is very loud nonstop crying

I actually just got off the phone with a family member who I sent another video of him (I caught it on camera again, need to upload it still) to with no context asking if it sounded like one of our goats. They rang because they were confused and possibly a bit concerned we had a random goat running around
They said it kinda does sound like one of them but also not. Which fits the description perfect that it's actually a bird copying them!

I forgot to share this clearer one, he still does it and I even got some other people to listen to him in person to be positive I wasn't crazy

It's still quiet so I recommend headphones or something.
