Oh... I haven't used one. A toaster oven is what I've been using lately. Don't know what it's made of. I've been making my own powder. (garlic, onion, etc.)

SS can be magnetic. But if it's SS it will be heavier and you can not bend it so easy. Also the coloring is different from SS and zincplated metal.

guess what!! the grille is zinc! I'm not going to use it! returning will be 15% stocking fee plus shipping charge. not worth it. All excalibur evenn the ss has a galvanized stell grill!!!

Contact Excalibur and explain the situation and then contact the cc you used, if you used one, tell them the issue and see if they will give you a refund or help you out with this. That really stinks.
