It is crazy to think how much unconditional love so many of us carry for these trouble making birds lol.

I am specifically speaking of his habit the last few months of going down to the bottom of his cage a few times a day, grabbing the papers that I lay down to catch the poop before it sticks to the bars, throwing them around the cage and screaming with delight!

He is beautiful. Is he a flyer? Asking as I'm wondering his weight also.

Unfortunately not. He use to, but after he fell and hurt himself, the veterinarian recommended clipping him for a while until he healed, but he has not even tried to fly since. Whether it is a physical or psychological issue is unknown. He fluctuates in weight, but lands around 800g.

Aw bless his heart,I'm sorry to hear he hurt himself. I'm glad he's better now though,that's so curious that he won't fly now even though it's been awhile.
Does he like getting scratches whenever I see Macs really get into their neck/face scratches they remind me of feathered dogs.

Lol, I totally understand and can visualise that! It is kinda cute when they get happy enough to squeal like little kids in a playground though hehe

Burt drags them back up to the top of the cage and tears them to bits and even shoves some of them outside the cage all ripped to shreds lol.

Michael does not do that yet, but does tear off a corner, unfortunately for me usually one with poop on it, and puts it in his water bowl of all places!

He does enjoy that, but only on his terms, otherwise it is likely that you will see what it feels like to be an almond!

He's not shy about saying no thanks I see. I've been bitten by a B&G on my thumb and it made quite the crunching sound and swelled up and bled quite a bit. That was about 14 years ago and I've never forgotten it. The Power in their beaks is truly awe inspiring.
