Is this a dirty white canary or pale yellow?

I’m trying to buy a white canary, either dominant or recessive is fine. I found one seller that says he has whites and when I asked for photos he sent me this. I can’t tell if this is bad lighting, the bird is dirty, or if it’s not a pure white canary. I know dominant white canaries have yellow on their wings, but this looks different. From the photos he sent, I can see two whitish looking canaries, but I can’t tell if they are truly white.

any ideas?

Honestly, I'm not sure about the bird, but I'd be reluctant to buy a bird from a breeder whose cages were in such a sorry state. That cage is filthy. Poor birdies.

I don’t know, but personally see a faint yellow wash. Agree about the cage state.

I’m seeing a washed out yellow too.
Those cages, horrible! They desperately need some maintenance :crycry:
