I am planning an outdoor aviary for my littles (finally!), and I wanted to grow some ground cover on the bottom for them. [disclaimer: the aviary will be wire bottomed for safety]
I intend to grow dutch white and red clover which I have read is completely safe for them. However, I was also thinking about tossing some english daisy, commonly referred to as lawn daisy, seeds as well.
All that I have come across so far is that the blossoms are safe.
However, what about other parts of the plant? I won't plant any if I am not 100% certain they are safe of course.

Any thoughts?

Bellis perennis is not 100% safe according to what I've read. Flowers may be OK but other parts of the plant are not.
