Introduction from Shorewood

Hi, I'm Melinda Morgan and I have a wonderful 13-year-old Green Cheeked Conure, Cassidy, who is the black-hole of affection. I live in Shorewood, IL and moved here from Lincoln, Nebraska, nine years ago after retiring. I'd like to adopt a second bird, parrotlets, or another small bird who needs a home. Someone suggested a Linney Parakeet, which sounded great.

I've missed BirdTalk so it's wonderful to find a website where I can read about birds anytime I want plus ask questions! I'm also grateful to the folks who sponsor and coordinate Rolling Meadows and the Joliet Bird Show. These are great people and keep me in bird toys! Thanks.
