Piper is stunning!DNA confirmed female, turquoise.
Piper is stunning!
IRNs are such graceful flyers. I think it's because of their long tails. Birds with short stubby tails...such as G2s ...seem to me to have a much more powerful flying style...![]()
So handsome I also have a male grey IRN. Congrats on your new addition. He is adorable, a chunky monkey.
She is stunning!This is Piper.
She was hatched in March of 2016 by a local pet store. I've had her since August of 2017.
DNA confirmed female, turquoise.
She was found in the wild outside an apartment complex. Attempts by the finder and the pet store to contact the owners failed. The people who originally found her couldn't keep her, so she found her way to me.
Generally a sweet bird, but is very much a people-bird and not a bird-bird. She must prefer pie, because she does not get along with Cake. She doesn't know if she's supposed to love or hate Pippin, but she does tend to stay near him. When he flies, so does she, and boy does she love flying. She's still going through a molt and has finally got all of her flight feathers in (she was partially and poorly clipped when she was found) and she certainly knows how to use them. She's happy to fly laps around the room, "pewpewpew!"ing the whole time.

He's a handsome guy.Just gotten a Indian ringneck, about 4 days ago. paper work states he’s 1yrs old. He’s untamed and has open ended leg band vs the usual closed leg bands typically used. He does have a noticeable black ring with decent amount of patches of pinkish/peach color ring around the back of his neck.
Named him: Piccolo(from dbz anime)
