Petey is mom's 10 month old crazy puppy. HE scratched me in the neck yesterday when he was trying ot climb on my lap........so I decided I would try to clip his nails.....it only took a half hour.......lol. First I tried to be sweet and play with his feet at first then I tried pinning him down then I trie dgoodies (DUH SHould have done the goodies first off.) The goodies helped quite a bit. Now he has nails that won't scratch, as bad at least!!!!!!!!!!
I also fou nd makeing a HUGE deal out of each toe helped too......lol.....and then it wasn't soooo bad......he didn't even cry one bit. Just bit me a couple of times well not even sooo bad with that either just the puppy please oh please don't do this...........thing. Now if the birds woudl just let me lol.
