I have not lusted for a bird in a very long time but this one has the juices flowing. :D

This is very funny and very sad at the same time because we know there is only one way this bird could have learned what it's doing. :-(

I just watch that video on FB and first I was thinking that he perhaps should find another way for using it, (creating art or something like that) but no! :p

That bird really really hated that cage! Poor Tika. It's a shame places are still selling those round cages.

Haha! I love the way that cage was fixed. Poor bird, poor Tika, and poor birds everywhere who are kept in such sad ways.:sad2: No doubt Tika and this Cackatoo are much happier now.

Some previous owner had a very limited vocabulary. And likely a similarly limited IQ.

You can have the bird, I'll take the man. ;)
Seriously, good on him. Best repair job I've ever seen.

Great repair job. And an amazing review from Pebbles. :D

It's so sad some birds have to live in those conditions, round cages just shouldn't be sold. :(

Watched video today. ...tears.

Secret was in a round cage for years. The owner didn't know better. We went through years of behavior with Secret .....routine circles in the cage, loop after loop after loop. I'm proud to say that in the last year I've only seen it once so yes, they can overcome it (or at least my Amazon could).

This cockatoo in the video landed with someone that cares, the owner had tears in his eyes at the end.

@JLcribber thanks for the post

I believe the bird in this cage was JoJo, an alexandrine. If you check the Saskatoon Parrot Rescue Facebook page, you will see the poor bird with its head sideways. There is also another video of Pebbles laughing while sitting with Kelly.

Poor baby, I think my U2, Babette must have been in the same place as she was! 14 years later she can still go off at night almost exactly the same.

This man runs a rescue in SASK, Canada. here is the real story behind the round cage....
This is the bird that came to his rescue in it.

watch if you can stomach it. I couldn't.

@JLcribber , the Too is a rescue as well. She has come a long way. I have been following this rescue for a while :)

IMO, there is nothing in this world so joyous as a happy 'too. It's what us people who are owned by 'toos just live to see...
