Help, I need some advice on my lovebird, Loki.
Last night I heard something but since it wasn't so abnormal - I let it be.
This morning he wasn't using his talon properly.
So I had to catch him and place him in a seperate cage.
Before I got him into a different cage he flew out of my towel covered hands.
Took me more than an hour to get him into his own cage.
I know by sight that his talon is hurting and he keeps preening it.
But he leans more on it then when he woke up.
I think he tried to climb, fly while their cage was covered and he hurt himself.
I've tried to call several vets on advice. Let him rest and see if it helps?
Or make an appointment to see what to do.
No one could tell me because they didn't know about birds.
What is the best thing to do?
I've also noticed that Ollie goes for his talon, but there are no wounds.
Something I noticed this morning because he was on top of the cage and she reached out while she was still inside.
