Believe you me, this might be an avian forum but an awful lot of us either have, or have had, non feathered companions in every shape and size. I suspect that several of us are down to our feathered companions because our children are grown and we are empty-nesters (in some cases, somewhat of).

The chicken is one of probably 40-50. I'll make a fowl and hen post in the according thread someday. Thank you all for the kind compliments. Wags is a sweety. He loves being pet. He lays his head on any idle hand nearby.

I love that you are an OTTB momma! My Comic is an OTTB. He was a bit of a handful until he turned 11. Then he mellowed out like crazy. It's like his brain and his legs finally connected. Beauties you've got there. Can't beat an OTTB once you connect with them.
