I am a Forever Bird

When I finally am able to bring home a feathered companion, I am making him/her a promise: "Me and you will be together till the end." I literally am searching daily for people in my area that apparently never made that promise, so, if the time is right, I can give a bird a forever home.

i went to the bank several weeks ago and i had jethro with me. we were talking about birds and she told me she used to have a cockatoo but she rehomed him because she didn’t realise how long his lifespan was. it made me angry and broke my heart. i understand having to rehome because of health issues/unexpected death but because you tire of them? cruel. do research before you open up your home.
